Usage Instructions

Cook toor dal (pigeon peas) until soft.

In a pan, boil tamarind extract with vegetables of choice and salt.

Add Melam Tamil Nadu Style Sambar Masala Powder and allow to simmer.

Stir in the cooked dal and mix well.

Temper with mustard seeds, curry leaves, and dried red chillies in hot oil/ghee.
